About 2-1-1 Brevard

2-1-1 Brevard Inc. is a private, not-for-profit organization that has served Brevard County, Florida, for over 40 years. As a telephone-based helpline, 2-1-1 Brevard assists callers 24/7 to provide information, referral services, and aid in times of emotional, financial, and community crisis.

2-1-1 Brevard was the first nonprofit in Florida to adopt the 2-1-1 dialing code after it was approved by the Federal Communication Commission. The organization’s trained specialists have been evaluated to meet the Professional Standards for Professional Information and Referral by the Alliance of Information and Referral Systems. The agency has also met all the American Association of Suicidology for Certification criteria as an approved Crisis Intervention Program.

Committed to helping locals as well as BHA patients find resources within the community outside of their healthcare needs, 2-1-1 Brevard goes above and beyond to be accessible to all. Their translation service ensures language barriers do not hinder an individual’s chances of receiving aid, and all resources provided by the organization take into consideration the caller’s location and transportation ability.
